Potential Tenant FAQ

Why rent at Dreamcatcher Home Rentals?
The search for a SL home can be frustrating. Mainland? Estate? Homestead? Parcel vs Skyhome? The questions are great and varied. At Dreamcatcher, we try to tailor each rental to the tenants needs. Find a great home but need additional prims? No problem! We offer additional prims for a low cost. Find a great area but all they offer are fully furnished houses? No problem! We can offer the same homes as furnished completed gutted to allow you a larger prim allowance for all of your things. Find a great texture that you want for your walls? No problem! Shoot me a message and if it's transfer, I'll happily add it for you! At Dreamcatcher we work hard to keep tenants happy and help is just an IM away.

Why is Customer Service so important?
At Dreamcatcher, we don't just preach Customer Service... we live it! Our job isn't complete until you are completely happy with your home and surroundings. No more experiences of renting a house only to find the owner is no where to be found and with no response to problems!

What is the 24 Hour Service Guarantee?
If you have a problem with your home or need changes made, simply drop a note to Jessa Alberti in world. You will be contacted within 24 hours GUARANTEED or receive a free week's rent!

What is the Refer-A-Friend Program?
Love your Dreamcatcher home? Tell your friends! When they rent you get 10% of their first rental amount towards your own rental! What a great way to live at Dreamcatcher for next to nothing!

What are the furnishing like in Dreamcatcher Homes?
We use only quality textures and known creators for furniture and homes. Most of our furnishings are very low prim, which helps keep your rental cost low! Beds and couches and sometimes rugs are full of quality animations with props and other fun things to make your experience with friends or that special someone truly something special!

I'm interested, now what?
When you've found your perfect home on our vendor board, you can either tp to the home and rent or pay your rental right through the vendor. Please feel free to contact us in-world anytime before accepting a rental. A well informed tenant is a happy tenant... and Job #1 is to make sure you're happy!

I have a griefer/stalker/crazy person after me!

If you have problems with greifers or stalkers... or just crazy people... all tenants have access to the white and black list for the parcel. You can ban them from the land completely!


Do homes come with their own security?
Many of our homes do come with quality LSO security orbs allowing you to completely control who comes in your home and who to evict from it. These orbs come with a wearable hud so anywhere you are on the sim your home is secure. Lock it down when you go off into the world and you can be sure any intruders will be booted and not be waiting for you when you get home.

How do I contact a member of staff?
Currently all questions can be directed to either myself, Jessa Alberti, or to my rental agent Blondiebabe02. For support tickets please contact me directly by notecard to ensure messages aren't capped. A response will be given very quickly, usually within a few minutes but definitely within 24 hours per our 24-hour Service Guarantee.


Ok I've rented, now what?
Upon rental, you should be issued a group tag for "Dreamcatcher Tenant" that you will need to be able to rez  your things in your new home. Accidentally decline the group invite? No problem! Just touch the rental box to receive another! Have a partner you need to be invited? Just touch the box and invite them! Guests also can receive group invites through the rental boxes. This makes the process streamlined and easy for all. Still having problems? Contact Jessa Alberti in-world to have a group tag sent.
